根據(jù)相關(guān)法規(guī)要求，混凝土攪拌車在裝載混凝土時的時速不得大于50km/h，且從裝料完成到卸料結(jié)束的時間不得大于1.5h。由此可以得出，混凝土攪拌運輸車的作業(yè)半徑不得大于70km。根據(jù)各攪拌站的工程量大小，需要配置相應(yīng)數(shù)量的混凝土攪拌運輸車。

目前國內(nèi)生產(chǎn)的混凝土攪拌車裝載容量主要有6m3、8m3、9m3、10m3、12m3和15m3等6種規(guī)格，其中10m3攪拌運輸車是目前市場上銷售量較大的一種。隨著配備3m3攪拌主機的混凝土攪拌站的興起，12m3和15m3混凝土攪拌運輸車也越來越受用戶的青睞。由于15m3混凝土攪拌運輸車的底盤是8X4驅(qū)動形式，轉(zhuǎn)彎半徑較6×4底盤的大，不適合在城區(qū)施工。因此裝在6×4底盤上的10~12m3混凝土攪拌運輸車已成為市場的主流產(chǎn)品。
